Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. Growing up she was influenced by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero, and romance ballads. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic shows. Ana started learning how to sing and play music from an early age, along alongside her mother. She received more formal vocal training when she was 16 years old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. While a student, and being a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choirs. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She's a regular solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions, performing the traditional Latin American Music. Passion and enthusiasm in music, art and performing has her involved with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana has also been an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for having the chance to share her love and love for traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to impart a desire particularly among the younger generation to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
